A Giveaway!!

Hi,
I have had wonderful reactions from everyone who has seen the crocheted edge baby blankets, so I am giving you the chance to win one, all ready to add your finishing touches! The blanket is 100% cotton flannel, pre-washed and hemstitched. The winner can choose pink or blue and will also receive the crochet hook and thread to make the edging. If you like, you may also add hand or machine embroidery.
Here's how you can have up to 3 entries to win (please leave a separate comment for each thing you do to enter):
  1. Leave a comment on this post-I'd love to know what you think of my new blog!
  2. Become a Follower of Mommy's Apron Strings.
  3. Post a link to my giveaway on your sewing blog.
I'm thrilled to have visitors from around the world, but I'd like to limit shipping of the giveaway to the US and Canada. Thanks. I will draw a winner on August 14, so check back then (or sooner, for more fun posts!)

I LOVE those crocheted blankets - have been trying to get a nice No 6 crochet hook - all I can get are plastic ones (wish I had inherited my grandmothers - sigh),
I'd like to know where to get the energy too - I have the ambitions along with a long - 'To Do' list. LOL
I love your blog and have it on my favorites.

Thank you, all. I'm glad you're enjoying my posts. Looks like you each have good odds at winning so far. My "to do" list is also much bigger than my free time or energy, but that's better than being bored; which I NEVER am, and I bet you aren't either!

I LOve the crochet edge on the blankets....it adds soooo much. I don't crochet yet but now I am going to have to put learning cloer to the top of my to-do list!!

Patty, crocheting is easy and fun. Even if you just do one row of single crochet around the edge, it makes a pretty finish. Thanks for reading my blog!

I love the crochet edge on your blanket, I used your idea on a Fleece Blanket (just a single row of Crochet) and I was so proud of myself. It was Rainbow Fleece and I used a varigated crochet cotton. I haven't crochet in years and it was nice to do some hand-work for a change. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

I have never crocheted before, but it would be fun to make gifts like the blanket. Thank you for letting me have a chance to try.
